Standard Model Polytrope

Polytrope Tool

This tool investigates the physical characteristics of a gaseous sphere in hydrostatic equilibrium as a function of its radius when the pressure and density satisfy the polytropic relation that the pressure is proportional to the 1+1/n power of the density. A configuration that obeys this pressure-density relation is known as a polytrope.
