Welcome to our Nuclear Decay Tool
This calculator performs a nuclear decay of an initial abundance distribution. The user will upload (xml format) a file giving the initial distribution of mass fractions of radioactive and non-radioactive species. The user will specify the decay interval and once the input xml file is tested to be valid, the server will perform the decay calculation. The results (the final mass fraction distribution) will be emailed to the user in xml format.
At present, the calculator requires the sum of all the initial mass fractions to be unity.
To prepare for the calculation, first download an example input mass fraction xml file. Edit this file with your desired inital mass distribution. After the file is edited, click on the button below to upload your new input mass fraction file and run the calculation:
